PPTP and L2TP VPN not working
Posted by: sedge - 09-14-2016, 12:44 AM - Forum: NEXBOX A5 - Replies (1)

I have been trying to configure an L2TP or PPTP VPN to PureVPN without success. (I use PureVPN on other devices).
Other forums suggest that this is a common problem on Android 6. Many Android devices have a work around for the problem but I couldn't find one for the Nexbox A5.
Any suggestions?

  Default Weather App
Posted by: sedge - 09-14-2016, 12:40 AM - Forum: NEXBOX A5 - Replies (1)

Is there a way to change the default Weather App for local regional settings? I live in Australia and we use Celcuis and Kilometres.
Alternatively, is there another default App I could use. I can use Weather-zone but I like having the weather summary right there on the start screen.

  Disabled USB in BIOS
Posted by: vdu - 09-12-2016, 09:35 PM - Forum: NEXBOX T9 - Replies (3)

Hi,

I accidentally disable USB in BIOS. Now my Nexbox T9 is totally useless. I can't go back to BIOS as the keyboard is not recognized.

The OS (Debian) boots up, but then, I can do nothing. No keyboard, no mouse, no network.

I opened the box, unplugged the battery for few hours, but USB is still disabled. I looked for a RTC_RST jumper, but could not find it. Is there a way to clear CMOS ? Or another way to activate USB again ?

Thanks,
vdu

Hello,

Is there a firmware update is expected ?
My Nexbox A5, Kodi not close properly. It would be nice to have notification bar and virtual buttons on the screen. It also happens that the " OK" button on the remote control of my TV LG webOS 2014 , start the TVBox .

Sad INTEL HD GRAPHIC CARD DRIVERS
Posted by: Davide82 - 09-05-2016, 08:56 AM - Forum: NEXBOX T10 - Replies (3)

Hello,

can you provide the correct Intel HD Graphic card drivers?
Using Intel update tool, I get drivers for N-series CPU instead of Z-series and when I search manually I don't find drivers for Intel Z8300 series.

I have issues with the image scaling.

I am running windows 10 64bit.

Thank you

  Problems
Posted by: humbalex - 09-04-2016, 04:15 PM - Forum: NEXBOX A95X (S905, Android 5.1) - Replies (26)

just bought a TV box and could not use it yet. When I turn on the device to HDMI input, initially appears as soon A95X and then is unsigned. I believe that is related to image resolution 1080P. How do I change the resolution or have access to the setup box tv?

  Enforce RGB for old TV
Posted by: StoyanB - 09-04-2016, 04:15 PM - Forum: NEXBOX A95X (S905, Android 5.1) - Replies (8)

Glad to see that the forum is already working on the site.

I have a 5 year old TV Phillips. I have tv box A95X amlogic S905 1GB / 8gb, andorid 5.1. From time to time the TV picture becomes green rosy. After a while becomes normal and so until next time. I read in a Minix forum that to resolve this problem must be option RGB enforce in the firmware of the tv box. Is there a possibility for my device have a new firmware to fix the problem, as they did in Minix?
Thanks Sad
